Our Commitments

How we build, and what we stand for.

Berlvis exists to make everyday life lighter. That intent only holds if the products themselves are private, secure, reliable, and built to last. These are the standards we hold ourselves to.

Privacy

Your data belongs to you.

We collect only what is necessary to deliver the product, store it with care, and never sell it. Where possible, we process data on your device so it never leaves it.

Security

Safe by default.

Every product is built with security as a starting condition, not a feature added later. We invest in encryption, isolation, and continuous review across the stack.

Reliability

Built to keep working.

Our products are engineered to function when the network is slow, the power is out, or the day gets busy. Reliability is what makes software actually useful.

Accountability

Honest by design.

Every record we hold should hold up. Receipts, transactions, agreements. We build systems that produce evidence you can trust, then we stand behind them.

Sustainability

Operate for the long run.

We choose architectures, partners, and practices that reduce waste and extend the useful life of what we build. The goal is durability, not just delivery.

Accessibility

Built for everyone who needs it.

If a product is meant to solve an everyday problem, it has to work for everyday people. We design for varied devices, varied connections, and varied abilities.

In practice

How we hold ourselves to this.

Commitments are only real when they change how a team works. These are the concrete practices behind the pillars above.

Data minimization

Collect less, on purpose.

Every field on every form has to justify its existence. Where a product can work without an account, it works without an account.

Security review

Reviewed at every change.

Threat modeling and dependency review happen at release time, not once a quarter. Findings block ship; they do not queue.

Offline testing

Failure is a test case.

Every core flow is exercised with the network off, the device backgrounded, and the battery low. If it does not survive those, it does not ship.

Records that hold

Evidence over anecdote.

Receipts, ledgers, and credentials are designed to be reproducible and independently verifiable, so the record stands even when we do not.
